Bishop’s ‘NRL Grand Final Host Pack’ Competition
Terms & Conditions

Parties:

  • Bishops, Wards Road, Hohola, Papua New Guinea (Promoter)

  • Any willing and eligible participant in the competition that fits the criteria set out below (Entrant)

Participation in Bishop’s ‘NRL Grand Final Host Pack’ competition is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

 

Dates of Competition

The competition commences 29th July, 2019 from 12:01am (PGT) and runs until 11:59pm (PGT) 28th September, 2019. The one winner of the ‘NRL Grand Final Host Pack’ will be drawn at 2pm (PGT) on 11th October, 2019 at Bishops Port Moresby Warehouse by random draw. Entrants do not need to be in attendance for the draw. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email. Details of the winner will be published in Bishops Quarterly Magazine.

 

Eligibility

The Competition is open to any resident of Papua New Guinea who fulfils the requirements set out below. Bishops Employees, Bishops Suppliers and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter this competition. Immediate family, which could include but not limited to any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step child, parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, brother, sister, step brother, step sister. The promoter has final say on eligibility.

 

Verification and Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and participants (including a participant’s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions of entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to sign a winner’s deed of release or any other relevant forms/agreements that Bishops deems necessary, to provide proof of identity. If the winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the right to the prize. 

 

Major Prize Draw

To be eligible to enter the competition, entrants must:

  1. Purchase any product(s) to the value of K1,000 in one transaction at any Bishops Papua New Guinea branch.

  2. Accept the terms and conditions of this competition.

  3. Fill out their contact details and invoice number on an entry form and submit it in store. Entrants must provide full and valid contact details including full name, contactable phone number, postal address and email address to enter. If contact details are not filled out completely, the entrant may be disqualified.

 

 

Entrants may enter multiple times during the promotional period.

 

The winner of the competition will be drawn by barrel draw. All individual entries have an equal chance at winning. The prize will be awarded to the company or individual whose purchase order appears on the winning entry drawn. The judges’ decision in relation to all aspects of this competition is final and binding on all who enter and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

Entry into the draw closes 11:59pm (PGT) 28th September, 2019.

 

Prize

The winner of the competition will receive:

  • 4 Burner BBQ

  • 24" HD LED TV

  • Cooler box

  • K250 voucher for Bishops (not redeemable for cash)

 

It is the responsibility of the winner to organise the collection of their prizes from their closest branch.

 

Contacting Winners

The winners will be contacted in the first instance via phone and followed up with a confirmation email, using the contact details provided on their entry form. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to notify the winner. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted after a fortnight, an alternate winner will be drawn. The unclaimed prize draw will take place on 25th October, 2019 at 2pm (PGT) at Bishops Port Moresby Warehouse.

Details of the winners will be published on the Bishops website (www.bishopbros.com.pg) from 28th October, 2019 and in the Bishops Quarterly, November-December 2019 edition. Details of the winner may also be published openly through the Promoter’s email, newsletter, publications and other media channels.

  

Personal Information

Entrants authorise the Promoter to be able to contact them with information relating to the competition or other promotions. In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate when required in all editorial activities relating to the competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed for the Bishops Quarterly Magazine and possibly other media channels. If the winner is not willing to participate, they forfeit their right to the prize and must return the winnings.

 

Further Terms and Conditions 

The promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage (including loss of opportunity) or theft of winnings. Bishops accepts no responsibility for any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any event beyond reasonable control. The appearance of the prize may vary from advertised pictures. The Winner takes the prize entirely at his/her own risk and indemnifies the promoter in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with the prize. The Winner is responsible for all insurance, tax or other costs that may be associated with the prize. To the fullest extent permitted by law Bishops will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of promotion entry or winning the Promotion prize.
